Domelight Dilemna

I have a '03 SuperCrew and there isn't a way to turn off the dome lights. Sometimes (when hunting) I want to be able to open the door and not light up the hillside. Is there a way to turn off the interior lights without pulling fuses?

thanks..

Hi,

On my '03 Supercab there is a switch on the actual light dome that lets you switch from off-constant on-on with door. I assume it is different in your Supercrew. You could install a switch into the dome light cover that turns it off. However, I would think a larger problem than the interior lights would be the bed light that comes on. This would probably be a little harder to turn off. If the interior lights and bed light were on one fused circuit you could probably install a switch in line and mount it near the fuse box but most likely something else will also be on the circuit that you will cut power to. That was not much help but good luck!
