Question Driving Lights????

I have a 2001 Expy Eddie Bauer. I have seen other Expy's with the headlights on during the day. This has indicated to me that either the driver just doesnt know that it is daylight, or it has driving lights.

I know that Ford does some weird things that you can turn off and turn with a turn of a switch here or a button there, is driving lights one of these weird things?

Not that I really care, but I do know that insurance companies give you a discount for driving lights.

This is just a "curiosity" question. If you have an answer, shoot me an email at stephen.dudra@fljack.ang.af.mil to let me know.

Thanks,

Stephen

I've seen some manuals refer to driving lights on Fords, but I don't know what package that's offered with. Possibly some kind of commercial or government application. I'm sure there are kits out there you could get if you want the insurance discount. You can also rewire the switch so that the headlight hot lead goes to the off and marker light position to have your own custom daytime running lights.
