Power Windows & Idle Speed
Power Windows & Idle Speed
Hey guys,
Last night while I was waiting for a friend of mine, I was screwing around with the power window switches. I hit the drivers side one up (even though the window was closed), and I saw the lights on the all the switches dim some. I had a CD on, so I turned it and the A/C off and did it again. Same thing, except now I hear the engine idling down some. So I hit all four switches (SCrew) up at the same time, the entire instrument panel and everything else thats lit dimmed. The engine idled down more (not that much, but you could hear and see it on the gauge)
Do the window motors really draw that much? Sorry, but thats some kind of BS if the truck cant handle opening/closing all the windows at the same time. Should I just not care? Or is something wrong? I've been having some starter problems too....
Thanks
