Program FOB for 1994 F150

I have a 94 F150 and I have found the grey 2 wire connecter. I turned the key to ON and shorted the 2 pins but the locks do not cycle.
What is the method for turning the key or how many times for this truck.

When you insert the jumper wire, what does that look like? Do you touch both pins at the same time to get it to short? What do you use as a jumper wire, is that something you purchase?
