I have a 2002 F150 and started having some problems with the headlights. At night time, the headlights will come on when the key is set to the on position, even if the headlight switch is in the off position. While driving in half light conditions, I can hear a relay turning on/off quite often. During daylight everything appears to be fine. Where is the dusk sensor located? Any other thoughts?

 

you can turn off the auto lamps. not sure on the 2002 but on my 99 its the 2 wheel over from the light switch. the sensor is in the dash on top in the middle under the oval cover below the 3 little slots. your owners manual should tell you about the auto lamp featureand how to use it
