Hi I have a 98SC XLT 4.6. My washers and mist on my wipers dont work all the time. I took the MFS apart as read here and cleaned it regreased and put it back. It worked for about 3 days and started up again. The washers only work when you wiggle the switchend . I also went to a junk yard and got the contacts out of aE 150 van. I couldnt get the whole switch it was broke . Once again ot worked for a while but now you really have to bang on it for the mist and wiggle the hell out of it for washers. I think the contacts on the stem must be shot. A new MFS is 98 bucks at the Ford Dealer. I just wnted to get some feed back . Should I be checking anything else befor I spend the money? I can deal with no mist but the washer thing is getting to be a real pain. Thanks Bob
