I just purchased a 1999 F-150 and as soon as a drove it off the lot, the odometer disappeared. It is a digital reading, and now it keeps going blank, off and on, at no specific time. Does anyone know how to fix this, or do I need to buy a new odometer. I took it back to the dealer, and they said they would pay 50% to have it fixed, but I heard that this was a way they rip you off. I am mechanically savvy, so I could do the job myself. PLease Help!
