2001 F-150 won't start until I press the unlock button. Any suggestions???

 

Sounds like you have a starter kill installed, maybe some history would help though...

 

I bought the pickup used. It worked fine for awhile but now I just have to push the automatic door unlock to start up. The doors are not locked as I disabled the automatic lock trying to fix the problem. No real problem but irritating.
