OK, did the physical mod to the switch only(have not jumpered any of the switch wiring). Now I can pull out the switch **** in the auto lamp position and have the fogs on. The only problem I have is the fogs only stay on when the headlights are on dim. Is there something I can do to make the fogs stay on with both the brights and dims yet still have the auto lamp function when I shut the truck off??????????????

Sounds like you need to jump the wires as instructed in the "how to"
Mine work fine in the auto mode and mine lines are jumped.

Once you did the jump did all the lights, (fog and headlights) go out in the autolamp position once the truck was shut off???

Yes they did. I leave my switch in the auto mode all the time and the headlamps go out with the fog lights (on timer)
When you press your remote lock button twice the fogs will flash with the headlamps. (Assuming you have keyless)
