Xenarc and Headlight Flash

I am concerned about the headlights flashing each time I lock the doors.
I just put Xenarc HID's on my truck and would like to disable my headlights from flashing. I have always heard is shortens the life of the bulb and ballast. I have the factory alarm.

The only way I know of doing this is to cut the wire coming out of the RAP module to the park/headlights. It will cut power to both the park lamps and the headlights.

I don't have my owners manual on hand, but I think I have seen where you can disable the "flash on door lock" somewhere in there...

ok guys i cut the green yellow wire from the RAP module,......now the headlights dont flash OR ANYTHING ELSE i would like to have the corners and tails flash, at least for the panic feature which now also only honks and doesnt flash.......im gonna tap the green yellow into the parking lamp control wire from the main light switch, that should set me fine, also last night i finished installing my new HID fog/driving lights, damm they are about 3 times brighter than the zenarc headlights.

What brand/model of lights did you get? Are they driving lights, fog lights, pencil beams? How much were they?

They are SIRIUS HID-2000's, they are both fog and driving, they put out a nice spread of light at close range but also have nice tight distance bean like driving lights....I would realy have to say they are like a set of HID flood lights, they use these on alot of ATV's Boats ans buggys as the primary lighting systems. they seem to be of very high quality with a heavy duty steel housing and heavy glass lens with REAL HELLA ballasts and a color temp very close to the xenarcs with a bit bluer color, they are about 3.5 inch round and needed a bit of hacking to the rear of my light openings on my L but not very hard at all to install they come with a relay with wireless remote (whichi didnt use) and a full wiring harness, i used the positive of my old foglight wires as the control for the relay.

i got them here http://www.hidstore.com/bohidliki.html they are listed at $599 for the set but i talked the guy into $560 including shipping,, hmmm i forget if the guys name is rob or steve but hes a nice guy.

I LOVE THESE LIGHTS ill post a pic after april 18th when my girlfriend finally give me my birthday present which is a new digital camera

I think it only flashes if you press the 7/8 & 9/0 buttons at the same time...if you use the key fob to lock the doors, then they don't flash...well at least for my Ford PowerCode RKE system...
