I have read the tech article about getting the fog lights switch to pull out when in park and outo mode, and this is something I have wanted to do. In the article, however, it didn't say if you have to file the collar dawn through the little open area in the bottom of the assembly or if you are able to remove the collar to file it down. Anyone able to give me some more direction here.. I just dont want to file it the harder way first and find out there was an easier way.

Granted I didn't want to do this either, it was really the easiest way. Just cut off the plastic welds and file down the ramp. The welds are not that critical and can easily be superglued back down.
