98 150 24000 miles all orginal except front brakes




my problem is turn on turn signal all the way on to make left turn signal flashes really fast & only back light blinks.

turn on turn signal like you would on freeway ( just before it would lock ) left turn signal works fine.

 

Sounds like the multifunction switch.

 

HAd same problem in my 97 screw. After third or fourth time of replacing what I thought was a bad bulb, I replaced the socket the bulb goes in. Bulb didn't appear to be fitting snug enough. Less than 10 bucks, and NO more fast blink! Good luck.

Fix for turn signal

I had the exact problem you outlined and after a few minutes of cleaning all the green gunk out of the switch, it works perfect now.

It certainly is worth investing if this is your problem, I think a new switch is in the $50-$60 range.

 

I'd start with the $10.00 item prior to dropping 50-60 on a switch.
Although, the choice is yours.
