Have noticed my odometer flickering on and off checked all fuses and wires cant seem to find the problem can anyone help

99 5.4 reg cab long bed

 

this is a problem ive seen alot on this board. i also had this problem. its seems to be the connector pulling off the back of the cluster. you'll need to remove the cluster and make sure the wires and terminals are ok and not pulling out. plug in the connector and get some slack on the harness so it does not happen again.there are 2 connectors on the back. the odometer wires are in the left one. use a haynes manual for instructions on removing the cluster
