On my drive to work this morning I noticed that my speedometer did not work and key chime was ringing with no lites on and key out. It only gets better! After lunch when I came out the radio was playing and by the time I went to drive home, with the key out the radio was playing and the fan was running and the chime was ringing.

By the time I started the drive home tonite the air bag lite was on the speedometer will not read, the cruise control will not work, the air bag lite is on and the 4x4 lite is flashing. When I get home and get out with the key in my hand the radio plays the fan runs and the door chime, or key in rings all with the key in my hand.

Is it possessed, do I need a priest, a silver bullet, or should I just bury it in the back yard and consider myself lucky to have survived.

By the way its a 97 with 141k and about $2,000 spent so far this year and its only April 1st!

HELP any and all will be appreciated!

 

pull the air bag codes and GEM module codes could be more than one problem here part of it sounds like a broken ignition switch.

 

Thanks for the suggestion this morning when I started it up it seems to be flashing a code 5 2 on the air bag lite 5 flashes followed by 2 flashes. The truck starts fine runs fine and all other accessories are working fine. Window up and down locks, and all outside lights.
