Driver Door Light switch??????
This absolutely drives me nuts.
In early morning when I am getting in my truck to go to work my door shuts just fine. But any other time the "Door Ajar" light is on no matter how many times I try slamming the door again. The reasons why it is so bothersom is: I had to remove the dome light bulb to keep it from staying on, but now the lights in the door stay on for a short time. And I cannot leave the keys in the ignition even with the door closed or I get the ittitaing dong...dong....dong. And the #1 one reason it drives me nuts is WHY DOES IT WORK FINE FIRST THING IN THE MORNING?
Anyway where is the switch for this? It does not stick out in the door jam like other cars. I am thinking it may just need a simple adjustment.

this is a common problem. just spray the latch with wd40. the switch is in the latch and the latch is on the door where the door locks on the striker. not the hinge side. do a search and you will find many threads on this problem
