I found an article from someone with a 98 F150 with trailer electrical problems that were solved by replacing a fuse in a small fuse box on the fender well, has a single piece of tape on it. My problem is my 2001 has the same problem, no trailer turn signals, no brake lights. I can only find the large fuse box on the fender well and those fuses are o.k. Anyone know of the location of the small box referred to earlier, or is there a change to the wiring for the 2001.

On my 97, it's between the larger fuse block and the inner portion of the fender. Probably has black tape covering the top. It is hard to spot. It's only about 1" wide and 4" long.
