Anyone Else Have this problem....
I have a 1996 Ford F-150 Extended Cab. Recently my alternator went bad and I replaced it, along with the battery, serpintine belt and even had it tuned up. Now when I have my vehicle running, and turn on blower and have my headlights working, I notice on my idiot gage for the battery it draws it down. I took it to the local Ford dealership who tested the alternator and battery and both are working correctly. What would be causing this problem??? I am at a loss. Thanks in advance for your responses.
okay - I'll check that.
Also was wondering if maybe the computer module might be going bad.... only reason I am thinking of that now is reading other posts and noticing that I have a leak around my passenger side windshield that drips down when it rains.
Thanks again.

on my previous f-150, a 1991; i noticed that when opening or closing the power windows it would show a slight loss of power on my battery gage once the window was all the way up or all hte way down just before i let go of the button. i don't think it's a problem, i think it's just an overly sensitive gauge that's monitoring it. i never had a problem with a dead battery or bad alternator in mine.
