I would like to put a dome light under my tonneau cover. I would like to just splice in to the bed light wiring that lights the topside of the tonneau cover.
Where can I get to the wiring and what color wires do I need to spice into?

 

I don't know what model or make of your truck but I am going to put a light under my tonneau cover but I am going to wire in into the cargo lights. I don't know exactly where to splice it in but when I find out I'll let you know. The advantage is the lid light would not be on except when the cargo lights are on.

I have a 2003 F150 Crew Cab.
That cargo lamp is kind of my target.
I am hoping somebody has done this and already knows where to tap in to what color wires.
