wake up electrical guru's !!!

This should be an easy answer for some of you guys. I am looking for a 12v hot wire to hook up my power seats to. Is there one on the drivers side in the rocker panel area? will this also power the 12v plug in the expy console I installed? thanks

The factory power seat connector should be hidden under the carpet. Look around where the seat belt connector harness comes out.

If it is a XLT, it should have the harness under the carpet.
If it is an XL or Sport, this is going to be a bit more involved.

The Battery junction box had a 30 amp fuse position for this. It is a Dark Green wire, and should be a 14 or 12 AWG wire ( guessing with the size of the fuse at the moment ).

This is the feed to the power seat switch, which has the control for all 3 motors.

The circuit 566 ( Dark green ) path should be :
Connector C202 : Pass side kick panel, 4 pin connector
Connector C305 : Under Driver's seat, 4 pin connector.

The manual does not give the color of the connector, so be aware that the harness may or may not be anywhere beyond the pass side kick panel.
Just to clarify, yes it is on the Passenger side, not the driver's side. Go figure, that is the way they routed it.
If you check the connector in the pass side, and there is a Dark Green wire, install the fuse for the power seats, and test it with a meter.

Good luck, let us know what happens.
