More headlight problems

Here is what I have left. Tonight on the way home my brights quit working. Well they kinda flicker trying to come on. I'm guessing that the heavy duty harness I bought. The relay is going bad. Sometimes I can turn brights on sometimes I can't. My dimms work fine. Ok can I take the heavy duty harness. Cut the heavy duty light sockets off of it, then use the sockets in place of the factory ones. I accidently broke the tabs off the drivers side light socket so it is utterly useless or should I take it to ford and let them fix it. What would you do.

I had a similar problem on my 1998 it turned out to be corrosion in the headlight plug terminals. I purchased new plugs from the Ford Dealer and spliced them on to fix the problem.

Had pretty much the same problem with mine when I had the HD harness in there with some 80/100 watt bulbs. The harness went to see the big guy in the sky. I'd verify that it's the harness by using the stock harness first. (Bypass the HD harness.) I finally gave up on the super zoot headlight bulbs and went to Silverstars so I can live without the HD harness.

Question Headlight aiming?

I know this is probably off topic, but how do you adjust the headlights? My headlights on my 99' Sport are way out to lunch. Where are the adjustment rods?
