I have a 2001 F-150 Super crew. For some time now I have had intermittent problems with the "door adjar" light staying on, the interior cab lights staying on and the "keys in the ignition switch" chime dinging and not turning off. Recently it has gotten worse. In the past I could kill it, restart and it would usually clear up. Last night I had to disconnect the bat to cut off the lights inside as they would not go out? Can anyone tell me what is going on? A friend of mine has the same model truck and he has the same problems...I am assuming this is a glitch that is a common occurance? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

 

Well...after reading further in the threads I tried the WD-40 spray on the door switches and guess what?? It works now! Thanks for the board with usefull info!
