Passenger side door lock is sticking. Both R/H and L/H fixed while vehicle was under warranty. This door unlocks only when it wants to...yet always locks.

Do I need any new parts our there is something I can lubricate or adjust to cure this problem? I have never had door panels off. Can someone help me cure this problem?

My door lock works sometime as well. But mine will sometimes lock and sometimes unlock on the driver's side only. Any help?

 

It might be a short or somthing along that line. Also try spraying a bunch of WD40 down it and see if that does anything

Anyway, to get the door panel off, take off the bezel around the door handle(not the whole big different colored part, jsut the little one around the inside handle) it pops off if you pull. there is a phillips screw under there that needs to come out. Then, take off the plastic on the B pillar (pillar behind the window). It just pops off too, there is another phillips scres that neeeds to come out. you also need to pop off the panel that has the power lock/ window switches on it. Pull up on it at the front of the panel. You can stick it down throught the hole underneath it. Once your done with what, lift up and then out on the door pannel, after alittle aggrivation it will come off. There is also a thin plastic sheet that is between the door and the door panel, I think that needs to coem off.( jsut pulls off.) I think thats it, good luck
