door ajar light
Not trying to be a smartazz...
The dash light brightness switch didnt get accidentally turned all the way up where it turns on the interior lights did it?
If the truck sits for a couple hours without touching it (not opening doors or putting the key in the ignition) will the lights go off on their own?

Sounds like the door switch is sticking. Easy fix. Just get you a can of WD-40 and soak the door switch. With the door open, it is at the forward end of the flat semi-circular shaped plastic piece attached to the door and that goes through the jamb.
I had the same problem.
Just unload a bunch of WD-40 on the door mechanism, close and open door about 10 times, if its not turning off yet, repeat.
You will probably end up with some WD-40 leaking out the bottom of the door.
edit: basically what Yankee said...

Turning the cluster diming light switch to turn on the dome light will not light the door ajar light on the cluster. Only the switch in the door will do that. Lube it like the other two posts.
