I would like to know the procedure for replacing the lamp in my dome light. The two spot lights on the outside of the dome light work but the light in the center that comes on when you open the door does not. How do I get to the bulb to change it?

 

It would help a little to know what year truck and where the dome is located.

However, most that I have seen the plastic cover just pops off ('just' = some swearing involved). I have seen some that have a small slot that you can insert a screwdriver or something flat to help pry. In my old truck the cover was almost C shaped and you had to kinda squeeze the cover together(if that makes any since). Try to look at it and see where the little plastic tabs are holding it in place and that will give you a better idea of how you have to go about contorting it to come off.
