Need to find source for camper shell brake light..help

I need location/source to tap into the brake lights for my camper shell 3rd brake light. Some place that doesn't make the 3rd brake light flash when I turn on a turn signal. Please help!

The place to look is under the pass. plasticpanel that helps hold the carpet down it under the door it runs to the pass side kick panel. I forget the color purple or green it also the high mount stop light wire . mine is a 97 so they may have changed the color of that wire.

Signal for 3rd brake light

Do you know of a source under the truck? Everything back near the trailer connections also has the turn signal function. Can't find a brake only source.

Thanks

My cap brake light is wired from behind the taillight on drivers side. The wire tap is snaked upto the cap with a inline 5A fuse and some bullet connectors for easy disconnect when removing the cap. I take my cap off about twice per year. The Dome light is also has a power tap from behind the taill running light, then the cap dome light and brake light share the same ground wire.

If you are wiring the brake light, just add another wire for a handy dome light.

If you look in the wires back by the driver side rear light under the truck there is a green wire that is tied back and not connected to anything. This wire is expressly there to connect a camper shell brake light, at least it was there on my 03.
