I have done the mod that allows me to run the fog lights in the Parking light position. LOVE it. But I also wanted to extend the usage of my Auto Lamp feature. I can't see that its even possible.

This is ALMOST what my switch looks like. Only difference, mine has an extra "wheel" switch next to the dimmer that turns on the AutoLamp feature and controls how long they stay on after the truck is shut off...

Is there ANY way to make the fogs work with the Auto Lights?

Does anybody know what will happen if I continue the mod that enables the fogs to turn on with the parking lights and shave off the piece so that I can pull the switch out (turn fogs on) while the lights are effectively turned off?? Will the fogs just stay on 100% of the time or will they turn on when the auto lights turn on or will nothing happen at all?

This is KILLING me! I gotta know. I've tried to look at the wiring to see if I could figure something out, but nothing is working. Any help is tremendously appreciated. I've wanted this feature for more than a year now.

 

Anybody?? Please help!
