I've got a '99 XLT 4x4 w/ power windows/locks/etc. and I would like to add keyless entry or even possibly remote start. Has anyone else done this? Does anyone have any aftermarket kits they would go with or can I get the OEM keyless entry system installed? thanks in advance for any and all help.

Ford now has key pad that you can stick on the door. You pgm.it just like a remote.

 

Go to Circuit City and have them install a remote starter, a feature of which is remote door locks.

I think it was about $135 installed and you will love it this Winchester VA winter.

I think the brand was 'Rattler'

 

I am curious if you got this system installed on your truck? Also, where abouts is Yorktown, VA? How close are you to Winchester? I'll give Circuit City a call and see what they can do. Thanks.
