Foglight MOD for early model 97's

Does anyone know how to get the foglight mod to work on the early model 97's? I've tried the jump mod and it only turned on my xenarcs while still in the parking light mode. I tried the relay one and same thing. Can someone tell me how to get this to work?

Ihave one of the early 97s and when it was new, I changed the front bumper to the 4wd bumper just for the foglights... The Ford dealership did all this and upon changing out the headlight switch, found that the wiring was different and would not support the foglight option...... I had to install a seperate switch to operate the fogs.......That's been 7 years and it is still working well.

If I remember correctly, the Ford tech looked and tried all day to get the new switch to operate but I believe there was one less wire that was needed to operate the fogs.

I also have a late 97 F150 and found several differences in the 2 vehicles......Headlight/ sidelight mounts etc.......

fog light mod

Is there a link or another member you could refer me to that would tell me how to modify the foglights and switch on post '98 models so that I can use the fog lights when having the parking lights only on?

Sorry I can't help with your '97.

Thanks for any help.
