What do you think about threw the glass cb antenna.Do they work well

Depends on what you're using it for. If it's to talk to folks who are close, i.e. party train, trail ride, they do fine. They really aren't very good at all for extended distances. A wilson or K40 magnet mount isn't too much more $, and a whole lot better quality. And you can put it away when you're not using it.
