Stuck Horn

I have a 97 F150 extended cab Lariat and the horn has begun to stick. The first few times tapping the air bag(or horn button) would turn it off. The last time it stuck I had to remove the fuse. Nothing like being under the hood with a blaring horn. Has anyone had this problem before? I wouldn't think twice about getting to the switch except for the air bag. What issues am I looking at there. Thanks

there are two screws that hold the air bag horn assy. in place
I've never had it apart but remember to disconnect the batt.

kicked it a few times and now it works just fine.

Would this affect cruise as well?

I had my horn (97 XL) get stuck a month or so ago, and I just pulled the wires off the horns under the bumper to silence them. Ever since, my cruise control hasn't worked either. One of these days if it warms up again I intend to take a peek at things.. but I'm reasonably sure the fuses are still OK.
