Gem

Iwas wondering if anyone has changed the "GEM" themselves? If so, was it a dealer only item, and how much?

Thanks,
Tom

From all the reading I have done it seems highly possible that is the fix for my problems. My wipers sometimes dont work right, and I have lots of trouble getting 4x4 to work.

No, I didnt replace it. I did however pull it out and clean all the contacts, and it helped mine. It is a toal pain to to get to though, to remove it the fuse box has to come out, and the only way I found to do that was to take off a lot of the lower dash.

Good luck,
Tom
