question about the f150 xlt

Hello to all i have a f150 xlt 97 i was wondering if the 97 xlt have the neccesary wiring harness for foglights. I have found some harness on both side where the headlights are and i think it might be for fog lights. I did also find to different type of harness next to the one i think is for the fog lights. What are these, one is round and the other is square and pretty big.

hi , I have a 2000 XLT and it has a foglamp harness under the headlamps... since mine is the 2000 I do not know exactly what type of connector yours is but the one under the headlamps should be it. Mine is the square one but ford changed might have changed the connectors when they redesigned the bumper. you can always check at your ford dealer. Double check to make sure that you have the fog lamp relay and the fuse... then after you have checked the harness and the relay and fuse, all you will need is the headlamp/ fog lamp switch to make the OEM foglamps work.

I hope that this as helped since I am working on this exact same project right now....

Like Silver said wiring should be in place you just need the Fuse/Relay, and switch.
Interior compartment #27 - 5Amp = Foglamp Relay
engine compartment #9 - 15Amp - DRL, Foglamp
By the way LWM usually has OEM take-offs available for $40.00

I really am impressed with the stock fogs especially after the simtaneous Hi/Low mod and fog only mod.
