Keyless entry Keypad & DRL installed

Just finished installing the Keyless entry keypad and DRL today. DRL was easy to do but Keypad took me about an hour and a half. It rain after I took the door handle off and had to move the truck inside the garage.

Just want to thanks to all the guys that posted articles on how to and what the parts # are, this make it easy for the installation, espically to SSCULLY.

What all is involved on the door keypad? I would like to add this to my Screw but I'm not sure if it is a tough job.

It is not that hard mechanically, just takes time.

Take off the interior door panel.
Pull back the liner for the door
Unbolt the door handle from insdie the door ( This is a short version of what is done, somewhat time consuming to do this with where the clips are at ).
Install new handle with keypad in it.
Plug in the wiring harness for the keypad.
Put the liner and the door panel back on.

That is about it in short descriptions, as this is a good hour of work. There are some pictures of the differences with the SCrew vs the standard / SCab doors in my gallery ( www button below ).

Drop me an email if you want the directions from svtlightnings.com ( Doug shut this down awhile ago, I don't know if it is back up yet ).

Good luck
