Does anyone know where I might be able to buy the plastic **** that turns on the headlights for a 2002 F-150 XLT? Mine broke off and I called a Ford parts department and they said they only sell the whole assembly which costs about $60 and all I need is the plastic ****? Please help!

 

First, I'd have it replaced under warranty... surely you're still inside of your 3/36k...

Secondly, if you don't want to go that route, go to the junkyard and just buy the entire switch assembly. I don't think they sell the **** as a seperate part...

I bought mine from Ford and the Parts guy sold me one from a Taurus. It was only like $5.00 Only thing is that it doesn't have the plastic tab on the back of it to release the switch assembly in case you ever needed to pull it out. Otherwise they're identical.
