Angry interior lights

does anyone else have a problem with the ford f-150 interior lights staying on after you turn off the vehicle and also the door ajar light staying on. I have been told that the switch in the door needs to be replaced. Well where the heck is that switch. Can only be told so many times that sir your inside lights are on before you go crazy.

Try spraying it with WD40 first. This has worked for many members of this board.

Actually, we use brake cleaner in lieu of WD-40. Oil tends to accumulate dirt and dust which aggravates the situation. The switch is not bad and does not need replaced, it is just dirty or covered with a film.
