Post Power Window Switch

I just bought the truck used it's a 99. The driver side window goes down just fine, but when rolling it up it sometime stops you can push the button down harder and it goes again. There is a clicking sound coming from under the driver side kick panel is this regular? Do you think I have a short in my switch or something like a relay going out? Another thing is the Odmeter sometimes doesn't come on anyone know anything about that? Thanks for your help.

Does the clicking only occure when you operate the the switch? There are two grounding points under the driver side kick panel. Check to see if they are loose or corroded. The Windows are controlled by the GEM and it is grounded at these points. Because of the comment about the pressing harder on the switch I would suspect that it is at fault.
