Question Power door locks

lock buttons started just working sometimes, drivers side will lock\unlock drivers side most of the time it'll work passenger side
part time. Passenger side works passenger door only (part time)
and my key fob's will lock\unlock drivers side most of the time,
never passenger side. Any help for this?

Door Lock actuators are expensive and non-returnable since they are electrical items. I would take a volt meter and read the voltage at the actuator connector when it is acting up before I bought new ones. I am not sure of what voltage (should be 12v dc) you will see and at what point (open/close) there will be voltage at the connector, but it will help isolate the trouble to the actuator side or the switch/wiring side. Inconsistancies in voltage would make me look at other factors besides the actuators. It is unlikely that two actuators fail at the same time, maybe find what controls them both and is operated by both the door switch and key FOB.

Hope this helps, I replaced a door actuator on my mustang when it was actually a broken wire through the flex tube by the hinges in the door.
