power to the "power windows"
I tried this question in a different forum, but maybe it will work out better here.
I have a 97... After i have turned my key off and until the door has been opened , there is still power to my "power windows". I would like to add this functionality to my radio.
I figure i can just power my radio off the same circuit as the power window. Has anyone done this. Or have an idea of how to go about it.

Its really easy. You pull the radio and then cut the switched power wire to the harness and reattach to a circuit that is on the accessory delay circuit. There is a wire in teh "big *** loom" of wire under the dash that will fit this bill, but I cannot remember off hand what the color is.
If you search the forum, there are several older posts that detail this process. One person posted a really complicated setup involving relays and such, but tapping into a delayed circuit is much easier.
I SHOULDN'T overload the accessory circit but it might. For real "professional" results, cut the switched wire and wire it into a relay that is activated by the accessory delay circuit.
I hope all that makes sense... I am very sleepy, but it can be done with a little work. If you have any specific ?'s after reading above, post back.
