Question: I have a 99 f150 4.2 L with 40k miles. After an oil change and maybe sometime before my oil guage needle pegs out to the H range. With the key on the "ON" position all of my guages slowly raise up to a low to normal range. Whenever I crank my engine my Oil guage shoots up from the low normal range all the way to the H mark. It is almost like a ohm meter that is reading voltage.

Any suggestions? If it is the sending unit how much do they usually charge to replace it?

Second question: My windshield wipers sometimes comes on at random (the wiper switch is on off). Almost like it is on intermittant with a one day to one week delay between them.
