Plug wires

Are plug wires on a '95 F150 6 liter OK if they have no exterior damage or is there a resistance spec for them? (Mine may have 102K miles on them). No miss - just checking for routine maint.

If you had amateur radio equipment installed you would need new wires , For normal operatyion I don't know.

ummm, a 95 6 liter??? That's a new one by me....

95 would be an in-line 6 cylinder 300 cubic inches, 302 V-8, or 351 V-8... if it was a 6 liter, it might be a diesel (but they have no plugs or wires and were only offered in the wuper-duties).

regardless, the plug wires don't have a spec on them... if they are the OE Motorcraft wires, replace them with a new set of Motorcrafts, then wait 3 or 4 months, then take back the old ones in the new box because they are bad... the box used to have ( and I think still does) the lifetime warranty printed right on the side. We (at Murray's) used to warranty them all the time.
