speedometer

i was wondering if ant one has had any trouble with there speedometer sort of bouncing around when accelerating mine will start off working fine then it will fall back down to zero and bounce a few times then it will go back to the right speed ive had to the shop 2 and they have replaced the cluster and then they replaced the speed sensor any help on this would be great thanks.

I hope they didnt replace the rear axle speed sensor. Thats not what runs the speedo on a F150, and it does on a lot of other fords. If the sensor they replaced has a base part no. of 2L373, then they replaced the wrong sensor. The speedo runs off of a calculated value from the PCM based on the reading of the OSS sensor in the transmission.
