Temprature guage on overhead console

Ditto... the plow blad probably just messed with the aerodynamics enough that it was forming a low pressure ares behind the blad and the warm air from the engine compartment and radiator were being sucked through the front of the engine compartment back up and around the air temp probe. Doesn;t sound too illogical to me.

Does anyone know if this sensor (being discussed here) is part of the EEC (generic Electronic Enigine Control system et. al.) and the output is being shared with the overhead temp. display?, or is it a dedicated sensor for internal display only?

Just curious...XLT_D
