Interior Lights

I have a 1997 Lariat with the same problem I've read about with the stuck door switch . I've tried the WD-40 solution without much success and have decided to go ahead and replace the switch.

I was just wondering if I could get some help on what to look out for when removing the door panel to keep from screwing anything up.

Thanks,
Bob

Hello Bob the 1st time will be a little tough, kinda hard to see the latch and you hand blocks your view. may need a mirror and flashlight. btw are you the same Bob Stout on the ACC message board? canoe or kayak?

Thanks Danny,

Are you saying I can replace the switch without removing the door panel and latch as I've read before? If I have to remove the door panel are there any little tricks that I need to know about before I start prying on it?

No, I'm not into canoeing or kayaking. Must be another Bob Stout.

Thanks again,
Bob
