Headlight switch, gas gauge, speedo, clutch starter switch probs.
Just bought 88 f150 4x4.
Headlights come on when switch is pulled out to second notch as should be, pulled to first notch for parking, no parking lights. Put switch in just the right position between parking and headlights both will work? I have put in 2 new switches and **** handles still does it, any ideas?
Also 3 other repairs;
gas gauge pegged on full, no matter what level tank is, is wire grounded out?
Speedometer not working is that just a cable hopefully?
Can I disconnect clutch starter switch? Seems to have a short somewhere, starts most of the time but sometimes I have to press the clutch in and out alot before it will turn over and start.
