Where to get PATS key locally in Seattle?
Hi,
I'm down to one key after losing my other key last night. Does anyone in the Seattle area know of any locksmith who have PATS keys & can program them? Also I have heard but not sure if it works that you can still program one pats key with out having two of them? TIA

The cost of the key is just about the same no matter where you get it at, so you can just have the dealer cut a new one.
The manual shows the procedure on how to program a new key into the system, no need to pay the dealer to do it, it is only about 10 steps long, and takes all of 2 min to do.
You might as well get 2 while youa re at it, and program then both into the system, in case you have something else happen.
Be aware that the lost key is still programed in the system, and counts as one of the 8 keys that can be programed at one time.
