Avoid dealer

Jim Keim Ford in Hilliard OH . May be OK on sales but next to incompentent on service. $565 for a front end brake job on a 98 F150, I think not! Bungled my door lock repair badly and hosed a friend of mine on his Eddie Bauer Explorer repair.

Avoid dealer

Avoid Billy Howell Ford in Cumming Georgia if you value your time and sanity. Sales guy was wonderful. Paid fair price, ordered my truck, got exactly what I asked for and in an acceptable amount of time. However, service department is totally incompetent. I was told I needed a $2600 transmission swap after complaining that the rearend was making noise. They then wanted to charge me $85 for the misdiagnosis and the rental car for the week it took for the "best transmission guy in the southeast" to check it out. I described the problem as being exactly like when the diff exploded the first time. The differential was replaced 12k miles prior by the same dealership and then again two days after I left, this time not by the same dealer. Also, electrical problem not fixed after 8 or 9 trips. I now live in Wake Forest NC and Wakefield Ford has an awesome service dept.
