Thumbs down A.C. Collins Ford, Pasadena, TX

**the following occured over a year ago, but it still makes me mad**
DO NOT get your truck serviced at A.C. Collins Ford. I was lied to by the service department supervisor, and he belittled me for being concerned about a vibration in the gas pedal. When I got my truck back, it had cigarette ashes in the cupholder, and reeked of smoke. The seat was stained, and it had mud all under it because it was "parked" in the grass lot because they were out of space on their paved lot..yeah right. Needless to say, I will never do business with that dealership again.

Mark, I have been doing business for years with McRee in ****enson and their sister store, Bay Area Ford in Clear Lake. They always treat us great. They had better after I have bought five vehicles from them in the past few years! Go To Bay Area and ask for Arce. Good man!

Angry

Just a little more info for you guys, STAY AWAY FROM PLANET FORD, on the north side of Houston. Just in case you are in the area, or something, don't even go in to look. For god's sake, they stop you before you can even get into the dealership to ask what your purpose for being there is!

Thumbs down

Speaking of bad dealers...

Apple Valley Ford in Apple Valley Minnesota--they used to be the best in Minnesota but they changed management. I just got done leasing a 2001 Ford F-150--I've never been treated so poorly by a dealer before. At one point they threated to repo my truck unless I paid them more money per month! They even called my employer and tried to get me fired! (Although they did send me a letter apologizing for that)

I recommend Metropolitan Ford in Eden Prairie. They seem to be the internet friendly dealer in Minnesota.

Thumbs up Apple Valley Ford

I've had very good experiences with Apple Valley Service Department. I bought my truck originally from Walser Ford in Minneapolis. It wasn't the greatest experience, but they did give me a really super price on the truck.
I've had a few issues with the truck, a bad drive shaft, leaking AC compressor and bad MF switch in the steering column and so far Apple Valley Ford has bend over backwards to make me a happy customer (all under warranty). I've never bought a vehicle there, but the service was/is really good. They are extremely prompt, efficent and friendly.

Just my $0.02.

Ditto to what Kenster said, McRee Ford is close to you, and is in my opinion the BEST dealership anywhere around.

I have 2 ford dealerships within 15 minutes from me, and I still make the drive to McRee because they have the best service.
