TSBs
Hello all, I've been a lurker for a couple of years, and have enjoyed the wealth of info offered on this site.
I recently (last monday) took my truck (f150 lariat 4x4) to my dealer for the cracks and a couple of warranty items and attached the TSBs acquired from the NHTSA website dealing with those items. After my dealer (Hayes Franklin Ford in Crosby, TX)kept my truck for one week and done absolutely nothing to it, a service technician explained to me "the service bulletin numbers dont even exist....we have a totally different format...you can't believe everything you read on the net." I understand that there are some actual Ford technicians that post to and read this board, could you guys let me know if this is true. Sorry for the long post.

Jessie, I had 2 recalls for my 97,
sent to me through the mail and I
looked them up on the NHSTA site
and the TSB #s matched...There's a
couple of Ford techs on here ,
they may help you out.
Service mgr get quite stupid at
certain times, seems like when I
show up, and they HATE any info
you present to them off the
interent....Good Luck
