How do I get a Chip Reprogrammed??

I am in the process of buying a used Superchip from someone and it has a different code then my truck. I was told that I could send it in and get it reprogrammed to my code for no charge, I just pay the shipping. First is this true??? And how do I do this?? Like where do I send it, what info do I need to send with the chip, and how long will it take to get back to me????

Most programmers charge a fee for reprogramming a chip with a different code. I think it averages $75.

I'm sure Mike Troyer can help you out and he should be along shortly with a definitive response.

Thanks for the info. I called them today and they said it is $75 so I am just going to get a new chip for a little more than what I would spend on the used one.
