Question Any other Chip Vendors here?

Just curious. I see Mike is very quick and thorough, but was wondering if there is anyone else out there?

All the Lightning tuners are chip vendors, and so is JDM.

Hello 02,

There are very strict rules about that here, vendors can't just come here and start posting. All vendors have to be approved here by the Webmaster, and have to pay significant fees to be an officially approved Supporting Vendor here on F-150 Online.

Only those vendors who support F-150 Online and are positive for this community are going to be here, so in general you won't see numerous vendors doing the same thing, as that only contributes to constant arguments, fights over who does what better, contests to see who can promote their friend the most, deals to promote vendors by individuals because they got a free or discounted product to tell everyone they are the best, locked threads, etc. here on the message boards, all of which does not serve F-150 Online participants, but instead, just makes the message boards a war zone.

The Webmaster has done and continues to do an incredible job of keeping all of that under control here over the years and keeping these message boards as free as possible of vendor conflict, so that the participants of this free web site are best served. As a result of the Webmaster's efforts rules & policies, in general, what you get here is the cream of the crop of vendors, and we are proud to be F-150 Online's original and single largest Supporting Vendor.

If there are any specific questions you want to ask about powertrain programming, or if you'd like to go over anything performance-related in nature about these vehicles in detail, please don't hesitate to call us, we'll be happy to help, & there's no pressure to order.

My $.02 is this. When we've got service like Performance Products offers, who needs anyone else?

They are perfectly willing to discuss the merits of blowers versus a NOS wet kit, at length, or anything else you might want to do. I don't know if they are cheapest (not saying they aren't competative), but they have totally impressed me.
